The 12th annual Womanless Beauty Review for PRSSA

Come one, come all, come to one of the most entertaining shows we have for homecoming.

The 12th annual Womanless Beauty Review competing for Miss Understood sponsored by PRSSA!

This year a record was broken for the most ladies to sign up, which was a total of 16 ladies competing for the Queen.

Judging the hilarious event was Family Consumer Science professor Lisa LeBleu, Communications professor Richard Robinson, International Studies coordinator Lorrie Jackson, University Relations director Bud Grimes, Communications instructor Tomi Parrish and Communications Administrative Assistant Sam Ray.

As the ladies took stage by Communications professor Teresa Collard and Assistance Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs David Belote everyone in the audience couldn’t contain their laughter.

When every contestant walked across the stage they were able to show a little bit of their personality as they  waved to the audience and put a little extra sway in their hips. The crowd couldn’t contain themselves as they whistled and yelled at the dolled-up contestant.

After a few introductions for every individual the show moved on to the talent portion of the competition.

Lady banjo player number 12,  Kevin Robertson whose lady-name was Deedra “Guuurrrlll” Johnson was sponsored by Sigma Chi. Robertson played a few short minutes of his/her banjo and the crowd fell in love.

After the talent portion of the Womanless Beauty Review there was a small intermission to help collect money for the retirement of one the Communication Professors. Not only were the ladies collecting money in their purses, the contestants that had the most money would win People’s Choice.

People’s Choice was announced shortly after intermission and the award went to number four Terry Moore, whose lady-name was Man-D sponsored by Leaders in Residence).

During the next portion of the contest judges declared the top six,  instead of the top five winners that would move on to the question and answer part of the review.

The top six winners were number one Charity Case (Andrew Barnhail sponsored by Leaders in Residence), number four Man-D, number six CoCo Starlett (Beau Kelly sponsored by Pi Kappa Alpha), number 10 Jacklyn Man (Zach Burchfiel sponsored by Alpha Gamma Rho), number 11 Diamond Caboose (Seth Daniels sponsored by Pi Kappa Alpha), and last but surely not least was Tracy To Tooter (Trevor Belton sponsored by Sigma Alpha Epsilon).

Right after the hilarious series of question and answers portion winners were announced.

Miss Congeniality went to number eight Ophelia Man (Clint Plunk sponsored by Alpha Gamma Rho).

Second runner for the crown went to number four, Man-D.

First runner up goes to number one Charity Case.

Finally the one everyone cheered for, Miss Jacklyn Man, winner number 10 gets the crown!

One exciting night of laughs and men dressing up as women went very smoothly.
