Voice It! blog gives voice to students

Voice it graphic

As the independent voice of UTM, The Pacer is launching a new blog called “Voice It!” to really give you, UTM’s students, a chance to have your voices heard.

Previously, you were required to write a structured 300-word-minimum Letter to the Editor in order for your opinion to be heard. While we still welcome all your Letters to the Editor, the blog’s purpose is to allow you, UTM students, the opportunity to voice your personal opinions on matters pertaining to the UTM campus and its students, faculty and staff.

We will originate blog postings about whatever is happening around campus and open it up for you to submit your comments. As students, you can also suggest subjects that you would like to see discussed.

The campus is filled with students who have many different opinions that are not always going to mesh with yours. We only ask that when you are expressing your opinions that you be tolerant of others’ opinions, especially those with whom you may vehemently disagree. In other words, be civil or be silent. The only other stipulation on comments is that you keep them clean. Keep it clean to be seen.

We look forward to hearing your voices.

Contact Voice It! at voiceitutm@gmail.com with any suggestions for future blog posts or if you would like to be a guest blogger for Voice It!

We never post comments that contain foul language or material that could be considered libelous.
