The Skyhawks fell once again in another Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) game. They fell 1-0 to the Little Rock Trojans, who have struggled on the road this season but found success this game.
The one and only goal from the game was scored by sophomore forward Maggie Turner in the 19 minute. This would be the only goal the Trojans needed to emerge victorious. The next matchup for the Skyhawks is against thriving OVC opponent, the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. These scores consisted of six against Western Illinois, four against Lindenwood and four against Morehead State. The two leading scorers for the Skyhawks are junior forward Peyton cook and sophomore defender Anna Østergaard Ibsen. The Skyhawks will need a strong defense and better offense in order to grab a win in this game. With a struggling Skyhawks offense the Golden Eagles will look to optimize early and finish strong, which they have consistently done this season.
The Skyhawks will travel to Cookeville, Tennessee, on Oct. 12, 2025 to face the Golden Eagles.
