Sodexo plans events for end of semester

Sodexo food services at UTM has many events and food packages planned for students, faculty and staff during the last weeks of classes and finals in the fall semester.

“As the semester winds down, we all want to make sure you and your students are prepared for exams and well fed,” said Nancy Danielle Jones, unit marketing coordinator for Sodexo, in an email to the campus.

Some food packages are:

  • Eat, Drink, and Think Unlimited! – This program goes from Dec. 3-7 and offers unlimited meals in the Skyhawk Dining Hall for $115, which is $30 in savings from normal prices.
  • Otis Cookie Jar – This is a package of two dozen fresh-baked cookies served in a clear cookie jar. You have your choice of sugar, M&M, chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin. They must be purchased by Nov. 30.
  • Munchies Mania – This is a gift pack that has three Snickers Bars, three plain or peanut M&Ms, three Butterfingers, three Reese’s peanut butter cups, two packages of Oreo Cookies, three bags of chips, three bags of microwave popcorn, and a 12-pack of soda, all for $30.
  • Healthy Snack Pack – This package is $35 and includesfour Nature Valley granola bars, four Yoplait yogurts, six pieces of fresh seasonal fruit, four packages of house-made trail mix, three apple and peanut butter snack packs, two celery and carrots with Ranch snack packs, and six bottles of Dasani water.
  • Exam Cram Cravings – This package includes two energy drinks (choice of Monster or BANG), two Starbuck’s bottled beverages, two bottles of Dasani water, one box of Numi tea gags, four Awake energy bars, three bags of microwave popcorn, two Snickers Bars, two plain or peanut M&Ms, two Butterfingers, two Reese’s peanut butter cups, two bags of Baked Lay’s, two bags of Rold Gold pretzels, and two bags of Miss Vickie’s Sea Salt Chips. The package is $40.

Some free events are:

  • Polar Express Pajama Party, 5 p.m. Dec. 4 in Watkins Auditorium
  • Moonlight Breakfast, 9:30-11 p.m. in the Skyhawk Dining Hall

Jones also said that any meal plan changes for the spring 2019 semester must be made by 2 p.m. Jan. 16. To make changes, visit the Sodexo office in the dining hall or call 731-881-1390.
