Police investigating death at Union University

JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) — Jackson police are investigating the death of a Union University student whose body was found in her car on campus.

Police said the body of 21-year-old Olivia Greenlee was found Wednesday morning in her Toyota Corolla, which was in a parking lot behind a campus building.

Investigators say a gun was found inside the car. An assistant county medical examiner was called to the scene and the preliminary cause of death appears to be a gunshot wound.

Investigators are treating the death as a homicide. Anyone with information about the death is being encouraged to call Jackson police.
