Thanks to the popularity and the accuracy of “the greatest show”, it appears that The Greatest Showman will be the next movie to receive a sequel.

The huge success of the 2018 film makes it no surprise that a second one would soon follow and “Come Alive” on screen or on the stage. Hugh Jackman has also confirmed in interviews that a stage show is being discussed for the popular musical.

Jackman confirmed, while hosting the Brit awards, that he will begin touring, back on the main stage, with his show “The Man. The Music. The Show.” This show will incorporate Jackman singing many of his favorite songs from Broadway along with special mystery guests.

The Greatest Showman quickly became the third highest-grossing musical so it is no surprise there are so many productions in the works to follow up. The directors and the fans seem to have “A Million Dreams” for the future projects.

“When a movie becomes as big a success as this, it’s only natural there is a demand for a sequel. So those discussions have started and we are working on one right now,” said Director Michael Gracey to The Sun.

Through all of this, the release date is still a mystery. With Jackman starting up his own show and all the possibilities of things to do, the timeline is still iffy.

“From Now On”, or at least until more information is released, fans will be on a “Tightrope” of anticipation for the next big thing in this series.

Fans can, however, entertain themselves by rewatching the movie, enjoying the sing-alongs, listening to the soundtracks and jamming to the covers.

Eventually, Jackman’s stage production will join the ranks as well. The touring plans for his show include many countries throughout Europe and will end in the United States.
