Christmas shopping is one of the hardest things about the Christmas season. It is expensive and people are hard to shop for. These are some things I have found that most people like.
Boys and girls are the easiest to shop for, in my opinion. All you have to do is walk down the toy aisle in Walmart and grab something. Barbies and Hot Wheels are a couple of the most popular toys. Barbie does not just have dolls; they also have accessories you can get with the dolls. There are houses, horses, cars, boats and much more to buy.
Hot Wheels also have accessories you can buy, like tracks. American Girl Doll is another popular girl toy. An American Girl Doll can last a girl her whole life—so far, mine has. Some girls play with them and some collect them; either way, this makes a great present. Action figures are also a popular toy among boys. You can buy superheroes, Minecraft and WWE wrestler action figures.
As people get older, they become more expensive to shop for. Teens are always wanting the next best thing, such as phones and iPads. Other than electronics, there are other things that teens and young adults love. Shoes are a great gift, especially a nice set of house shoes.
Some nice perfume or cologne is a really good gift. It can be expensive, but some are worth the price. People also tend to have collections like a VHS or Barbie collection. If someone wants something that is hard to find as part of their collection and you are able to find it, it would be worth the buy.
There are many great gifts to buy adults. A couple of my favorite gifts I have purchased are gloves with a built-in flashlight. This is great for when my dad is working on cars. A fun gift to give is a hotdog fishing pole. This fishing pole is meant to hold a hotdog over a campfire to be cooked and makes a great gift. My mom wants many things, but purses and books take the cake. Purses can be really expensive, but some are worth it. A good purse can last a long time and a good book is always a great gift.
There are also gifts you can get for anyone. Legos and Nerf guns—which are typically associated with boy toys—are great for everyone of all different ages. Experiences are also great! You can get someone a zoo membership or a gift certificate to a museum. Many people do not consider this when shopping.
Don’t stress over shopping for this holiday season. There are many great things to gift and most people will appreciate anything.
