Skyhawk Athletics 2014 summer camp schedule released

MARTIN, Tenn. – A total of eight Skyhawk athletic programs are sponsoring camps this summer, ranging from May 27 through July 31 at various locations on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin.

The UT Martin women’s basketball program is conducting six camps. A middle school team camp will take place on May 27-30 while high school team camps will take place on June 11-13 and June 17-19. A middle school and high school tournament camp is scheduled for June 20. An advanced camp for grades 7-12 will take place on June 27-29 while an individual fundamental camp for grades K-6 is set for June 30-July 3. The Skyhawk equestrian program is hosting a pair of camps, starting with an intermediate riders (age 8 and up) camp on June 1-5. That will be followed by a premier camp for ages 14-18 that will take place on June 22-25. Three cheer camps will also be held at UT Martin, beginning with a UCA cheer and dance camp on June 3-6. A NCA cheer and dance camp is scheduled for June 8-11 while a UCA elite cheer and mascot camp is set for July 8-11. For more information on these camps, please call (731) 881-7663.

The UT Martin men’s basketball program will oversee three camps. A high school team camp is scheduled for June 6-7 while an individual elite camp for grades 7-12 is set for June 21. An individual fundamental camp for ages 6 through 15 is also scheduled for June 23-26. The UT Martin soccer program will oversee four camps. An individual elite camp (U12 and U18 boys and girls) is scheduled for June 28-July 1. High school girls team and ID camps are set for July 12-15 and July 20-23 while a day camp for ages 4-14 is set for July 28-31. The UT Martin football program is scheduled to conduct a pair of camps on July 19. A prospect elite camp for participants in grades 9-12 will take place at Hardy Graham Stadium while a 7v7 tournament camp will be located at the Martin Parks and Rec Complex, followed by a single elimination tournament at Hardy Graham Stadium later that afternoon.
